2014 // A Look Back

Friday, January 2, 2015

As we stand on the brink of 2015, we decided to take a moment to glance back at all that has happened over the past 12 months. In a way the year seemed to be gone in a flash, but when we think about all that has happened, it feels as if 3 years worth were fit into one.

On March 8th, 2014, we pressed the launch button for Ali & Paul Co., a pivotal moment for obviously our company, but also for us as a couple. Since then, we have photographed 7 weddings, numerous engagement sessions, events, and seniors sessions. It's been so fun pushing ourselves to be creative and work to set ourselves apart as artists in this industry.

Above all, even with the stress that comes with starting a new business, 2014 was compiled of a whole lot of precious memories, meeting incredible couples with beautiful love stories, and constantly brainstorming to be sure we are giving our clients the experience they deserve for their wedding day! We  just want to thank ALL of our amazing 2014 clients for allowing us to document such special moments in your lives! We have truly made lasting friendships with so many of you and that means SO much to us! We can't wait to see who God brings into our lives in 2015 to tell their one of a kind love story.

Here is a brief look at 20 of our absolute favorite images of the year.

200 ft above the Susquehanna River as the sun set with Jessie & Holden.

One of the most 'Aaaaahhh!' moments of the year.

We really enjoyed playing with the light during this engagement session with Jack & Kimberly. They would often slip into their own little world and it was so fun to capture.

Emily had just finished getting ready, sitting in her room, preparing for the wonderful day.

So in love with this image. He is her protector and guidance...and she has a look of complete peace on her face.

Love how this image showcases all the joy and celebration that a wedding should be!

And finally, this session on a cold and rainy day quickly turned into the most memorable. This is our favorite image to date!

Thank you so much for all your support and love during our first year! We are so full of anticipation for what lies ahead, and we can't wait to take it as it comes, and grow as photographers and artists.

So cheers to '15! Let's make it count.
