Dan & Nicole / Lancaster Engagement Session

Friday, January 15, 2016

I met Nicole when I first moved to Lancaster about two years ago. She works at Bristle & Prim in the city and it turns out I was in desperate need of a hair cut so I gave it a try. I've recommend her to all my beautiful brides since. She is SO good at what she does and you will feel totally at ease throughout the entire process. I fell in love with her outgoing personality and something makes me think she could dye my hair purple and I would still love it. (I could pull off purple, right?)

We started the session in their cozy first home, (which I loved) then we walked their adorable neighborhood and finished the evening out with some beer, cheese and crackers! Just the way we like it. :)

We love you guys and we can't wait for your Excelsior wedding this fall. Eeek!

Moonstone Manor Wedding / Kayla & Zane

Thursday, January 7, 2016

Zane & Kayla had a gorgeous woodland themed wedding that tied in well with their love for the outdoors and ice-cream. (Yes... ice-cream.) The guests were given a small envelope with a note on the front instructing them not to open until 7:00. They were then treated to a small cone from the sweetest, local ice-cream truck! It was the best surprise and their guests loved it! Also, I'm totally down with a pasta bar at every single wedding... mmkay?

The day was filled with so many sweet moments, but one of my favorites was when her grandfather was assisted out of his wheelchair, for a short moment, to dance with the bride!

Extra sprinkles for the bride... of course!!

Her ice-cream went tumbling down her dress as soon as she took the first lick. We made sure she got another one... stat.

Zane used to breed snakes in high school, so he decided to incorporate a little wild west snake breeding into the garter retrieval. It was SO funny to watch Kayla's expressions to the whole surprise. Ha!

Dj Freez is the best at what he does! He gave them a moment to themselves while dancing on the clouds and it was beautiful!
